Scheduler: Quick Start

A quick start guide to Scheduler

Scheduler: Quick Start

Prior to accessing the Settings dialogs there are three tasks to perform:

  1. Choose pushback input other than the default Pushback Generator OES, for example imported pushbacks.

  2. Define haulage information.

  3. Define capital costs associated with pushback startups and/or time periods.

  4. Edit the time settings.

  5. Define at least one scheduling target and choose primary scheduling objective. Maximum sinking rate and pushback start after dates are optional. Note that if you have provided haulage information, you can use the DistByMass variable to define truck hours related targets.

  6. Review the control parameters. Note that the rescheduling option will become available only after you ran the Scheduler at least once. If selected, this option replaces the input OES by the most recent Scheduler OES.

  7. In the Pushbacks dialog you can review the default pushback K-bench dependencies and adjust them if necessary. The first two Mining order options guarantee the correct slopes; the Custom option does not unless the dependencies are set correctly.
